The physical safety at Northwest is reflected through age-appropriate equipment and alarm coded entry. Volunteer and staff are background checked and undergo an interview process to serve. Children of all ages are accepted according to the comfort level of the parent. A nursing room is available for your convenience.
Northwest Kids 9:30 am
From birth through 6th grade, classes are designed for children to understand and apply the Scripture on their level. The children memorize Scripture and have the opportunity to make lasting friendships.
Junior Worship 10:45 am
Junior Worship is for the little ones, not quite ready for "big church". This is an extended time of learning about Jesus and having fun, while parents are getting a chance to worship without distraction. This time is for ages birth through pre-K.
Where Junior Worship is for little ones, Children's church is for slightly older kids from 1st through 3rd grade. Kids will worship with their families and leave after the offering each Sunday morning. They'll learn about scripture together in a unique way, just for kids! Children's Church will not meet during Family Worship on the last Sunday of each month.
Awana 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Pre-k - 6th graders come to learn, play, and grow each Sunday night at Awana!
NWKids Midweek 6:30pm - 7:30pm
This mid-week program includes fun, friends, and faith for 1st-6th graders on Wednesday nights! Childcare for infants through kindergarten takes place during this time for parents who are involved in discipleship and Language classes.
Special Events and Opportunities
Parents' Night Out
Each quarter, parents are invited to take a date night out while we host a fun evening for NWKids! With games, crafts, movies, and pizza, kids will have a blast while parents can reconnect with the parent connection guide. Cost is $10/child or $30/family maximum.
We spend a few evenings each summer experiencing a Bible story and learning about God's love. This is a fun time to bring friends and make memories learning the Word of God!
Every summer, NWKids heads to CrossTimbers Children’s Camp to learn about missions, evangelism and God’s Word in a fun atmosphere. The camp is for kids who have completed the 3rd grade through 6th grade.
Join us over Spring Break for our 5-day sports camp for 1st through 6th graders. This day camp teaches children the basics of sports and sportsmanship as well as the message and love of Christ! The camp includes music, sports, and fun!
