Our goal in our NWBC kids’ ministry is to partner with parents to point children toward a heart for God. We accomplish this through developing real relationships with our families, age-appropriate teaching and worship, and discipleship.
“We will not hide them from their children, but tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders He has done.” – Psalm 78:4, ESV
Kids' Discipleship: DIG in!
We are exciting to be launching our new kids' discipleship program - DIGin! This program is designed to be done in your home or as a community group! Each week there are video based lessons answering the question: "WHO IS GOD?" We will also have boxes of resources for each child to use including activity pages, discussion guides, and much more!
Junior Worship 10:45 am
Junior Worship is for the little ones, not quite ready for "big church". This is an extended time of learning about Jesus and having fun, while parents are getting a chance to worship without distraction. This time is for ages birth through 3.
Children's Church ~11:15 am
Where Junior Worship is for little ones, Children's church is for slightly older kids from Pre-K through 3rd grade. Kids will worship with their families and leave after the offering each Sunday morning. They'll learn about scripture together in a unique way, just for kids!
Children's Church will not meet during Family Worship on the last Sunday of each month. Download ten tips for engaging your kids in Worship Here
Special Events and Opportunities:
Every summer, NWKids heads to CrossTimbers Children’s Camp to learn about missions, evangelism and God’s Word in a fun atmosphere. The camp is for kids who have completed the 3rd grade through 6th grade.
The safety of our children is of utmost importance to us. In each of our classrooms, we only have age-appropriate toys. All our volunteers and staff are background checked and undergo an interview process to serve. We have a secure check-in system, that allows only parents/guardians with a tag to pick up their child. We also have our nursery and preschool hallways secured with keypad entry.
